Selected Messages is a unique compilation, consisting not only of valuable articles and statements found in manuscripts, but also of some very valuable old pamphlets and small works that have since gone out of circulation. The counsel presented here ranges from Ellen White's statements on inspiration made after 1885 to observations on the "two laws"; from messages of comfort for those who are suffering or facing death to warnings for alleged members of secret societies, as well as numerous articles in which certain key points of doctrine are dealt with at length.
