SALES, SHIPPING, EXCHANGES AND RETURNS POLICY
1. Customer Identification
Any person who purchases or wishes to purchase products through the Editorial Safeliz website shall be considered a customer.
2. Payments
Payments may be made by credit or debit card through the PayPal or Banco Sabadell platforms, which are solely responsible for processing payment data.
Editorial Safeliz does not have access to such data and is not responsible for their processing.
Exceptionally, payment by bank transfer may be enabled. In this case, the customer shall be responsible for any errors made when issuing the transfer.
All payments are made in:
- Euros (€) for orders within Europe
- United States dollars (USD) for orders outside Europe
Any currency exchange or transfer fees shall be borne by the customer.
3. Taxes and Invoicing
All applicable taxes and charges will be displayed before completing the purchase.
Once payment has been confirmed, the corresponding invoice with a breakdown of the amounts will be sent.
4. Shipping and Delivery Times
Orders will be prepared on business days and shipped through logistics operators selected by Editorial Safeliz.
Delivery times are estimates and will begin to run from the moment the order is confirmed:
- Spain (Madrid and mainland Spain): 3–5 business days
- Balearic Islands and Portugal: 4–7 business days
- Canary Islands: 7–14 business days
- Europe: 4–7 business days
- Rest of the world: 7–14 business days
In accordance with applicable regulations, the maximum delivery period shall be 30 calendar days, unless otherwise agreed.
Editorial Safeliz shall not be responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond its control, including transport, customs, or force majeure.
5. Shipping Costs and Free Shipping
Shipping costs will be calculated during the purchase process.
Shipping will be free when the order reaches the following minimum amounts (taxes included):
Spain
- Madrid and mainland Spain: from €99
- Balearic Islands: from €120
- Canary Islands: from €120
Portugal
From €120
Europe
- Zones 1, 2 and 4: from €120
- Zones 3 and 5: from €150
- Zone 6: from €200
International
- America: from €150
- Asia: from €200
- Africa: from €250
Free shipping is limited to standard shipping only.
6. Exclusions and Additional Costs
Missionary or colporteur books are excluded from free shipping, regardless of the order amount.
Likewise, free shipping does not under any circumstances include:
- Customs duties
- Import taxes
- Local charges
- Customs handling fees
These costs shall be borne by the customer.
7. Delivery and Liability
Delivery shall be deemed completed when the order is made available to the customer.
The customer must check the condition of the order at the time of receipt.
In the event of an incorrect address or the recipient’s absence, reshipping costs may be charged to the customer.
8. Right of Withdrawal (European Union)
The customer has a period of 14 calendar days from receipt to withdraw from the purchase.
To do so, they must notify: info@safeliz.com
The product must be returned:
- Unused
- In perfect condition
- In its original packaging
The refund will be made within a maximum period of 14 days from receipt of the product.
Return shipping costs shall be borne by the customer, unless expressly stated otherwise.
9. Returns Due to Incidents
The customer must first contact: info@safeliz.com
Product damaged during transport
This must be reported immediately, attaching evidence. Safeliz will indicate the procedure to follow.
Incorrect product
The customer has 14 days. Safeliz will bear the costs.
Defective product
After verification, Safeliz will provide a replacement or refund.
10. Legal Guarantee
Products are covered by the legal guarantee applicable in the European Union.
Damage caused by the following is excluded:
- Improper use
- Incorrect handling
- Normal wear and tear
11. International Purchases
For orders outside the European Union:
- The customer shall be responsible for taxes, duties, and customs charges
- These costs are not included, even in free shipping
- Safeliz shall not be responsible for delays or holds at customs
International return costs shall be borne by the customer, unless there is an error or defect in the product.
