The identification of the United States of America as an empire is common in the press and in academic circles today. However, as early as the 19th century, Adventist interpreters had identified this potential and had linked this emerging nation to apocalyptic prophecies. The objective of this book is to show how the process of the founding of that country provides important data to illuminate the Adventist interpretation of Revelation 13. In addition, it clarifies the current sociopolitical landscape of that nation and its future prospects.
