NATURA DOMNULUI HRISTOS-RUM
DESCRIPTION
The discussions on the nature of Christ have given theologians much trouble. The difficulty was that many other very important questions were raised: What is that sin? Is there an ancestral sin? What does a saint look like? What is the connection between holiness and perfection? Will there be a last perfect generation? Aware that Ellen White said: "Be careful, very careful, how you insist on the human nature of Christ," author Roy Adams, professor of theology and Adventist publicist, answers rationally, with the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy, to the above questions. The main perspectives brought into discussion within this dialogue are presented, analyzing what happened in 1888 or in 1957, when the book Questions on Doctrine was published. When sin is seen not only as an evil manifested externally through rebellion and cunning, but also as an incapacity realized intimately through repeated missing of the mark or through moral deformation, then the very nature of Christ – the One made one with us, but without sin – is the solution to our crisis as individuals and as the church!
