Pastor Julián Rimejor, author of this work, has been married to Gloria Ramírez for 50 years. She has been his principal collaborator. They have carried out their ministry between Cuba and Spain. They have three children: Jorge Luis, Rubí Jaqueline, and Julián Junior, and four precious grandchildren: Cristina, Sabrina, Álvaro, and Sofía.

He earned his Bachelor of Theology degree from Montemorelos University, Mexico, and a Master of Education degree (Family Counseling) from River Plate Adventist University, Argentina. They have pastored several churches, giving conferences, seminars, and marriage retreats in Cuba, Spain, and the United States.

He has served as director of various departments, Conference Vice President, and Union Vice President. He was secretary of the Cuban and Spanish Unions and director of Voice of Hope in Spain from 2012 to 2017. She was director of the Children's Ministry and the Women's Ministry.
