Despite this, the number of people becoming chemically dependent grows daily. Many teenagers, and even children, are initiated into this destructive practice. In many circles, drugs circulate freely, leaving a trail of misery and destruction.

The problem is distressing and requires solutions, although it always seems to be someone else's problem. But when we least expect it, it can appear in our own homes. We need to confront this situation, learn more about these substances and their effects. But most importantly, we need to be able to recognize the victim of physical or psychological drug dependence in order to help them.
