DESCRIPCIÓN
“Higher education is an experiential knowledge of the plan of salvation, and it is obtained by earnest and diligent study of the Scriptures. This education will renew the mind and transform the character, restoring the image of God in the soul. It will strengthen the mind against the deceptive insinuations of the adversary and enable us to understand the voice of God. It will teach the student to be a co-worker with Jesus Christ, to dispel the moral darkness that surrounds him, and to impart light and knowledge to men. The simplicity of true godliness is our passport from earth’s preparatory school to heaven’s higher school” (p. 10).
Ellen G. White (1827–1915) is considered the most translated American author. Her works have been published in 140 languages. Although her formal education ended at age 9, she wrote more than 100,000 pages on a wide variety of subjects. Guided by the Holy Spirit, she always exalted Jesus and pointed to the Scriptures as the foundation of her faith.
