Pistis is a tribute to Richard Lehmann, successively and/or simultaneously a pastor, missionary, theologian, dean of the Adventist Faculty of Theology, director of the Adventist Campus of Salève, president of the Adventist Federation of Northern France and of the Franco-Belgian Adventist Union. On the occasion of his 70th birthday, several of his many colleagues and students wished to contribute to this work. A dozen essays form the main part of these "miscellany." The authors' specialties offer a diverse range of perspectives that one would scarcely think to combine except in this bouquet honoring a man whose interests were themselves varied and abundant.
