Carlos Puyol holds degrees in Theology and History. He has a doctorate in History from the Autonomous University of Madrid and an honorary doctorate from the Peruvian Union University. He has served as a pastor, professor of Theology, and director of the Sagunto Adventist College, president of the Spanish Adventist Union, general secretary of the Euro-African Division of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, rector of the Sagunto Adventist Campus, and director of Safeliz Publishing House. He is a member of the Biblical Research Committee of the Inter-European Division and regularly collaborates as a speaker at the Foundation for Contemporary Science and Thought, organized by the Spanish Royal Household for Her Majesty the Queen of Spain. He is also the author of the devotional book, But There Is a God in Heaven.
