The restoration of man to harmony with God, the elevation and ennoblement of his moral condition, that he may again reflect the image of the Creator, is, therefore, the great object of all the education and discipline of life.

So important was this work that the Saviour left the courts of heaven and came personally to this earth that he might teach men how to qualify for a higher life. In the school of Christ the study never ends.

Among its pupils are both young and old. Those who follow the teachings of the divine Teacher are constantly growing in wisdom, refinement, and nobility of soul, and are thus prepared to enter the higher school, where the growth will continue throughout eternity. Ellen G. White
